Phewwww...What a couple of months it has been since we last wrote. At lot has happen, to briefly put it, Mama B is now an temporary stay at home mom and Big Daddy has 3 jobs. Believe it or not. The house is much more stable that it ever has been. Odd how that works.
In the past we griped than celebrated the sliver linings of our predicaments. Which was, in all honestly rather hard since the gripes where much more bigger than the sliver linings in our big dark ominous clouds that seem to constantly hang above us. Hence why this post is titled yay for cheerios!
Being broke, happy and struggling with our current situation we have managed to land on our feet (abeit in a clumsy like nature) Our family has been bravely moving forward on shaky ground, growing stronger as each day passes and being super active to chase our daily blues away.
Big Daddy, The Master of Our Universe, now offically has 3 jobs. In between him punching in the clock at his jobs he still finds time to kiss the wife, play pikachu with snickerdoodle and be the mobile jungle walker gym with the lil'monkey. Poor man is tired. But we do love and miss him tons, so he never gets to rest when he is home. But I just would like for him to sleep undisturbed one day, maybe one day we can leave the babies with Grandma and run to have mommy daddy time. Oh by the way, he just turned 29, eventually he will reach his 30's.
Mama B. being part of the restructuring of a former 500 company was let go. Since then she has been at home with plenty of time for thinking, planning, cleaning the house, playing mama and baking new recipes until they are perfected (which big daddy has no gripes about considering that most of the time, there's freshly made bread and a prototype pastry to eat)Has come to realize her goal to open her own business with tasty treats would like to open one when the kids are a little older and has more capital to open a store. Until then, possibly more schooling to make her much more marketable in the medical world, something completely different that what she was trained for.
Snickerdoodle. Has just welcomed her newest sibling on her papa-papa side, loving the fact that she is the whole world to her little sister (aside mama and big daddy) and is now a officially a Girl Scout! Yay! Ok perhaps I'm more enthusiastic about this than her, but in time she will see that this route is possibly a very fun and cool activity! She still struggles from house to house, pushing her boundaries and eventually letting loose and becoming a kid again by the weekend end. During this time, she still believes in fairies, leprechauns and the Easter bunny.
Lil'Chunky Monkey is nearing 1 yr old. She is still quite the chunky monkey with an appetite that rivals a not so dainty field hand. Alot of time has passed and digital photos has been taken, still it seems time is flying by and we can't keep up. Though she doesn't quite crawl at this time, she is most determinately very mobile. Bum scooting her way into every drawer that contains something loud and possibly breakable. Yay fun times! She loves cheerios and prefers those than to green beans. This child would rather eat cheerios than her boring mushy food but with no teeth in her mouth, shes still out of luck. She protests with mushy food and wants something with texture, but gags when food with texture do come. tough break kid. Recently she just learned how to wave hello/goodbye, its a work in process but it's super cute. Oh btw the way...her first word is officially "uh-oh" Thank you Teletubbies.
In fact both my kids are super cute. I want another!
In the next coming weeks, we will be celebrating a 1st birthday, a first communion, grandma j's visit with a little scottie in tow. Alot of excitement and whirl and burl to distracts us from our daily constant worries and gives us hope as we walk towards a better way of life and out from under this cloud.
Until then..who would like a blackberry muffin?
