So while Mama Bee frantically tries to tie all the loose ends on Snickerdoodle's upcoming natality, I blog. Ask not for who the blog posts, it posts for thee. Mama Bee decided she might put a haiku on the little tiny tags attached to the little tiny lollipops that go in the little tiny party bags. This, of course, awoke in me a monster that had been sleeping for nigh on 5 years. I used to haiku. I still have some stuffed somewhere in the boxes that haven't been unpacked in the garage. I took Japanese for two years in college mostly because I wanted to write haikus as they were meant to be written. So, for Snickerdoodle's sake here's a birthday haiku from me to you:
You turn a new leaf
So happy birthday to you
My brilliant cabbage
Happy Birthday Cabbage. You are now and will always be more loved than you realize.
