February - The LAMEST Month

Big Daddy here. Why is it that February is always the lamest month? Soooo depressing.

Well that's what I hear anyway. I wouldn't know. I'm too busy WORKING ALL THE TIME! Like, working. All the time. Go ahead, pick a day. Close your eyes and think back. I'll wait.

...

Got it? Good. I was working that day.

Oh, wait. There was one day...Yes! This past Sunday! I only worked HALF of a day. The other half was spent chasing my family around the Safeco 500. Sweet, sweet Fanfest. Someday soon I'm gonna GO to Fanfest mama b here: correction he went in 2007 and again in 2008. We actually got autographs in 2007 and I'm gonna experience it Again. he already did, but like most fleeting memories, he can barely remember it AND also he had beer, 2 beers, and good food that day.. But until then I'll just wait for Aurora to be promoted to Northwest Regional Fashion Coordinator for Burburry and Scarlett to get her GED from the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro what are you implying about our youngest?.

I'm spending my extra (ha!) time trying to obtain a blogging position for a local sports blog. It's pretty cool.

I'm looking forward to our April trip to Texas. As in, he hopes that every where we go has air-con, and doesn't exactly die from heat or sun exposure while his in-laws amuse themselves with the only tall white guy in the city. For the sake of our daughters and my husband, I'll do what I can to protect them from the evil evil hot bright sun.

Now, here's the best wife in the world.looks around and wonders if she was replaced.

*clears throat* Sure as Big Daddy said, its now February and we are officially going to restart our resolution of 2010. Drum roll please... Keep up our blog!

Seriously you would think that I would've kept up on this. Realistically on a daily regular basis that would measure on a level of nausea. Considering I've been officially out of work for nearly a year and looking for a job, for oh well about a year now. None the less, while my husband works in and out daily, I keep the house standing. Meanwhile I look for work and maintain the house in a semi decent condition . Still you wonder, I had to have some sort of down time to do it. Nope, I take showers during those times.

A side note. My little sister decided to uproot and move out west. To our house to be more exact! Well not permanently just until she gets on her feet. Admittedly it's been definitely a life style of change, but I love it. I wish her luck on her quest to get going. I'm lucky to have a husband who works his ass off for the past year, but she has us, unfortunately it's not enough to pay the bills :(

Ok I admit that this post from my perspective was pretty lame. I must confess,I was seriously distracted! Ugly Betty was on and I was sucked in like some moth to a flame. Hence the creativity department, epic fail. I promise to do better in the next post. That being said based with our current run, I'll be more creative next year.
